ABOUT OUR RĀKAU

Wai Ora River Care eco-sources all of our native trees and grasses from the Waikato region. This means our seed has whakapapa to the whenua, they have already adapted to the climate and are sure to grow well in Te Nehenehenui.

The Cicada serenades. Cicadas are considered by some Ngāti Maniapoto as the progeny of rehua.
